This three bedroom 2 1/2 bath home was finished being constructed in June 2017. The house is 2100 sq ft and can accommodate up to 16 people with a total of 8 beds throughout the house. The home is located on the southern end of downtown. (Southtown) Southtown is a neighborhood with numerous local restaurants, bars, and fun San Antonio traditions. We are less than a mile from the iconic Tower of the Americas, the Convention Center and the Alamodome. Your space offers a minute drive/Uber ride away from the heart of downtown San Antonio including Alamo and River Walk. The proximity of the home allows you to walk, bike, or bus to countless restaurants and bars that are all in a 1-2 mile radius. We have designed this house to maximize the enjoyment of the property. This house was made for families or groups to be together and create lasting memories. We are so close to downtown, but we wanted to make sure that while at the property, there is plenty to do. A 12 ft shuffleboard table has been placed in the living room for everyone to enjoy. Plenty of wax (sand) present to have shuffleboard games into the early morning hours! We have set an Arcade game that has over 3000 games on it (Don't bring quarters, we added a 'free play' button :).The games are from the 80s, 90s, up to around 2000. My favorites are NBA Jam, Golden tee, Mario brothers, and countless others. We also have a ping pong table and foosball table in the two car garage. There are televisions in every room with cable and DVD players. The balcony is a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink or use the tables and chairs that are in the garage to sit in the back of the house driveway and enjoy the view of the Tower and Alamodome! You will have access to entire house including Shuffleboard Table, Arcade game, ping pong table and foosball in the garage. We also have a large propane BBQ pit in the backyard that you will be able to use as well to enjoy Texas BBQ The house has plenty of parking in the front of the house and also the back of the house. You will also have access to the garage. If you do not want to drive, Uber and Lyft are very present in downtown, and it's only a 3-4 minute drive to anywhere in downtown. It is about a 22-minute walk to the convention center and the Tower of the Americas. We are also about a 19-minute walk to all the restaurants and bars in South Town off of South Alamo Street. We love the location of this house because of all the restaurants and bars that are nearby. Within 1-2 miles, you can be at countless restaurants and bars all over Southtown, Blue Star complex, and downtown. All houses south of downtown are also close to a couple of train crossings that the trains blow their horn at when they are passing through. When you are outside, the traffic noise will be present, but we have upgraded the already new windows by adding sound deadening acrylic window inserts to upstairs bedrooms to ensure that while inside, the noise is not an issue. But, like any property in downtown San Antonio, you will still hear trains as they blow their horns. The train and traffic have never bothered our family, but because some people might be light sleepers, please consider that if you would like to stay at any house downtown, including this incredible property
