This is a rare piece that is highly sought after and mine is fully functional. You should know something about these units before you buy one. They are infamous for one odd quirk. The Microtube 200 can take several minutes to come out of protected mode depending on the load that is connected to it. This is to ensure under-voltage protection for the PSU chip when the amp is switched on. Each cabinet configuration is different; in my original configuration it would take about 5 minutes to come out of protected mode. With the PA cabinet that is currently connected to it the amp comes out of protected mode immediately. This is well documented; some users/owners claim that the unit can be brought out of protected mode quicker simply by shining a bright pen light in to the vent of the casing. This approach is connected to the fact that the ADA Microtube 200 employs a Neon light to trigger the power good signal. I only found out about the light recently but it was never an issue for me because it takes more setup time for a live ensemble or even to make preparations for a recording. By the time everything is ready the amp is ready. The ADA produces nice clean power. I was always impressed with the crystal clear tone produced by this amp. I initially used it without a preamp or effects for a nicely pure guitar tone. Original product manual included!
