There will be approximately 17 weeks paid time off at $15 an hour and approximately 35 work weeks with 40 hours a week at $15 an hour and approximately 10 hours overtime, paid at time and a half, making this a 50 hour work week when working for the approximate 35 weeks (Annually this is approximately $40,000 a year with approximately 85 days OFF a year). In order to be a Credible School Security Officer (CSSO) for us you must: - Possess integrity, professionalism and an eagerness towards training. - Be licensed with the TXDPS Private Security Board & have your pocket card in hand. - Be able to work the 35 weeks from 0630-1630 (possibly more overtime when needed). - Be well spoken and politely mannered. - Be able to communicate in English and Spanish fluently as this is an essential function at this particular job site. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐈𝐈 (𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃) 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 & we will only be contacting/interviewing/hiring Level IV & Level III candidates at this time. ⭐️ All candidates must be actively licensed with the TXDPS Private Security Board and have a current pocket card within their possession along with a valid, clean driver's license. After applying for the position by completing our pre-screening questionnaire, the first interview will be a phone screening & if acceptable, a video (Zoom) and/or in person interview will be scheduled. ⭐️ All candidates should have a reliable form of transportation and a working phone number and/or email address in order to communicate. However, there’s a CSS iPhone on site to be used by the CSSO while on duty. ⭐️ All applicants must be well spoken, able to complete, thorough digital activity/incident reports in our officer reporting system and able to present themselves professionally. During your interview you may be asked for a code word and saying ‘#SABS’ will prove you’ve followed directions and read the entire ad before applying. All officers hired will be required to wear a company uniform, have a neat, well-groomed, authoritative appearance yet friendly/customer service demeanor. ⭐️ Our security officer uniforms are manufactured by the same company that creates uniforms for the U.S. Coast Guard and the New York Police Department. Uniform requirements consist of company A-Style/button down shirt, brass S.O. pins, clip-on tie, brass tie clip, brass shield, CSS photo identification, full duty belt, BDU pants and dark tactical boots.
