San Diego Youth Assistant Tennis Coach

Youth League Tennis (YLT) was created by Laura Kassirer, a former Wimbledon player, so all kids can learn & compete with players of equal level in their own community. YLT is open to kids ages 5-14, beginner through intermediate players. • Goal: To grow the game of tennis by getting kids to actually play the game of tennis as quickly as possible; introduce families to local quality tennis pros, and help kids get ready to play High School tennis. YLT runs 8 week sessions in the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. We are looking to hire tennis coaches ages 17 and older to teach back-to-back groups of kids for our upcoming session at: Canyon Crest Academy 5951 Village Center Loop Rd, San Diego, CA 92130 • Sundays: 3pm-6pm or 4:30pm-6pm Miramar College 10440 Black Mountain Rd, San Diego, CA 92126 • Sundays: 9am-12pm Murrieta Valley High School - Saturdays 1pm-4:30pm All coaches are hired as part time employees and if driving more than 20 minutes each way, we compensate for drive time as well, by reimbursing $5 per 20 minute drive to a site. • Assistant Coaches are paid: $20/hour - $35/hour depending upon experience We are looking for reliable, positive, personable, engaging, energetic individuals who want to help grow the game of tennis and enjoy working with kids. We would love to talk to anyone who played at a 4.0 level or higher! This is also a perfect job for coaches or college students looking for part-time work, to expand your network, and/or meet additional families in your area! We also hire High School Juniors and Seniors who have experience coaching clinics and camps. We provide: pee wee tennis nets, tennis balls for each level, personalized medals, and progress reports for all participants. Kids bring their own rackets.
