Description:

Stove top crepe griddle. 12 inch diameter by 1/4 inch thick flame cut steel round. With spatula, spreader and ladle. The griddle- "street fair"- method is easier on the wrist. You also can make larger crepes. The 12" griddle easily makes 9-10 inch crepes with a 2 oz ladle of batter. Larger crepes can be made if your burner has good coverage. I have always had a gas range. I believe electric or induction should work well also. I use the All Recipes Basic Crepe recipe on line. Update: I just switched to Julia Child's recipe. If you scale her recipe for 1 cup flour it uses 1 1/3 cup liquid. All other quantities are the same in the two recipes. The thinner batter forms better with the spreader. First picture is Nutella and Banana. Next egg ham and cheese, third is a stack of crepes ready to fill. I meet at the McDonalds parking lot 1856 Manhattan Beach BL corner of Aviation. I can also meet at the 99 Cent Store parking lot 2701 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90278 corner of Inglewood Cast iron
